This research studied problem condition and obstacle in safety aspect of metal molding factory. In this research, sampling group was staff who worked in 1021 metal molding factories which totally had 48431 staff. With simple random sampling, there were 229 factories as simple groups. Tools used in the research was questionnaire which analyzed data by percentage, mean, standard deviation of mean, analytical review and factor relationship.

The result revealed that there were 3 groups of problem condition and obstacle in safety aspect of metal molding factories. The first group was acknowledgement of safety condition. In this group, it was at a medium level on the average. It was considered from acknowledgement in using tools and machines safety, training in safety aspect, safety behavior during work, suitable environment and work characteristic. The second group was problem condition in safety aspect. In this group, it was at a high level on the average. It was considered from problem in safety aspect of using personal equipment to prevent the hazard and problem in safety aspect of using tools and machines. The final group was obstacle in safety aspect to evaluate the level of obstacle in safety aspect of using personal equipment to prevent the hazard and level of obstacle in safety aspect of using tools and machines. The result revealed that obstacle in safety aspect of using tools and machines. The result revealed that obstacle in safety aspect in using equipment to prevent personal hazard mostly were occurrence of obstacle in readiness of using equipment to prevent personal hazard while occurrence of obstacle in distributing suitable equipment to prevent hazard and obstacle in using equipment to prevent chemicals and dust hardly occurred. For obstacle in safety aspect in using tools and machines, it revealed the obstacle in installation of equipment to prevent hazard from machine mostly occurred while obstacle in using tools and equipment during work hardly occurred.
